Columbia Libraries - Locating Images : Still and Moving

Filed under: Film Division |  Visual Arts Division |  Workshops |  Photos |  Film Studies MA |  Libraries

Columbia’s Libraries, with 9.5 million volumes, more than 100,00 serial titles, and an extensive collection of online databases, ranks as one of the top ten research libraries in the nation. What is not always apparent is how to find the rich collections of images either in books, journals, Butler Media Collection or in our database resources.

This one hour session will focus on the most effective search strategies for locating image resources.

Please rsvp to one of the sessions listed by sending email to Nancy Friedland, Librarian for Butler Media, Film Studies and Performing Arts—nef4@columbia.edu
