ATTN: ART JOCKS! TWO NEW TEAMS FORMING

Dear Fall Jocks,

There are two new teams forming:

  • INDOOR SOCCER CO-ED, captained by Marcos Sahm, Film 2nd year.
  • BASKETBALL CO-ED , captained by yours truly, Larin Sullivan, Film 2nd year
Sign-up sheets are posted on the Dodge Hall 4th Floor bulletin board. The deadline to sign-up is Thursday October 11th. Yes, this Thursday!

All years, divisions, ability levels and genders are welcome to join the teams. If you expressed interest in these sports on the google group, now is the time to take action and sign-up! Games in the indoor leagues take place on the weekends and/or late at night, and there are at least 2-4 games per league season.

Please consider your ability to make the time commitment before signing up. Depending on the numbers on the team, you will be needed for at least half of these games to make a full crew! Captains will contact you with details next week.

The time has come to get movin’ on the court, field, or table!  Join or organize an Art Jock team today!

There will for sure be a Basketball team. There is also potential for Tennis! Soccer! Badminton! Squash! Racquetball! Volleyball! Flag Football!

TO JOIN OR BUILD A TEAM: Post a message to the appropriate message strain in the Art Jocks group – saying hey! I am so and so, and I want to play this sport!  It’s that simple!

This Sunday, 6:30 PM at Baker Field
Co-ed Softball Game

The Thrillers, a mostly Film division co-ed softball outfit seeks a handful of players to round out the roster. We need a pitcher and catcher for sure, and at least two more women.  B.Y.O. mitt.  Bats, pennies and umps provided

Announcing School of the Arts’ Newest Club: ART JOCKS!

Founder Larin Sullivan says: "With the beginning of spring comes a new club for the traditionally lumpy or muscularly atrophied graduate art student. Art Jocks, started by film division 1st year Larin Sullivan, aims to organize SoA students into teams to compete at the graduate intramural league sports tournaments.
